welcome to my website!
i created boyd4ughter to be my own personal little home here on the internet, safe from algorithms and ads. as such, this website is purely designed for me, to express myself and curate things that bring me joy. sort of like a virtual commonplace book! feel free to take respite here as well! in a world of endless scrolling and instant information, i wanted to rediscover the joy of exploration that the internet once held for me. as a baby of the early 2000s, i've been longing for a way back to the wonder, whimsy, and excitement i used to feel booting up my family desktop to play flash games, mess around with word art, and fall down the rabbit holes of my interests.
this website is almost entirely a work in progress, and more than anything a format to explore a new creative hobby and learn html coding. also i love tacky, ugly html websites and hope to create a sense of time and place with my aesthetics here. i love it when websites have a cohesive theme and all the colors look nice together and all the pages are similar, but i just have too many disperate interests and aesthetics for that! plus, part of learning html for me has been experimenting with every single page and making them all look unique. i'm so grateful to have you here! please click around and pretend you're sitting at the family desktop in the computer room for your daily 30 minutes of internet time. it is 2009 and you have no worries. :^)
